NSK Bearing 51204
Product description of NSK Bearing 51204
NSK Bearing 51204 Thrust ball bearings are classified into those with flat seats or aligning seats depending on the shape of the outer ring seat (housing washer). They can sustain axial loads but no radial loads. For Single-Direction Thrust Ball Bearings, pressed steel cages and machined brass cages are usually used The cages in Double- Direction Thrust Ball Bearings are the same as those in Single-Direction Thrust Ball Bearings of the same diameter series.
Features
- Available in two designs: single direction and double direction
- To accommodate initial misalignment in an assembly both designs are available with spherical aligning seats or aligning seat washers.
- High quality steel-ultra clean steel to extend bearing life by up to 80%.
- Advanced Grease Technology — NSK lubricants that can extend grease life and performance.
- High Grade Balls — Quiet and smooth operation even at high speed.
- Optional seating rings take initial misalignment.
NSK Bearing 51204 The basic load ratings listed in the bearing tables are based on the standard cage type shown in Table 2. If the type of cage is different for bearings with the same number, the number of balls may vary, in such a case, the load rating will differ from the one listed in the bearing tables.
Thrust ball bearings are designed to handle axial loads only. Thrust ball bearings consist of ball, retainer and both shaft and housing washers which contain grooves for the ball.
The double Direction Thrust ball bearings can support bi-directional loads. The bearings with spherical housing washer can prevent static misalignment. Thrust ball bearings are manufactured as single direction or double direction thrust ball bearings. They are designed to accommodate axial loads only and must not be subjected to any radial load. Thrust ball bearings are separable, i.e. the shaft washer, housing washer(s), ball and cage assembly(s) can be mounted separately. Shaft washers have a ground bore to enable an interference fit. The bore of the housing washer is turned and always larger than the shaft washer bore.
To accommodate initial misalignment between the shaft and housing, both single and double direction thrust ball bearings are available with sphered seat surfaces on the housing washers. They can be used together with a sphered seat washer adjacent to the housing washer or adjacent to a machine component manufactured with a sphered surface.
NSK Bearing 51204 Single direction thrust ball bearings Consist of a shaft washer, a housing washer and a ball and cage assembly. The bearings can accommodate axial loads and locate a shaft axially, in one direction only.
