KOYO Spherical roller bearings, KOYO Bearing 24180RHA, The spherical roller bearing has a high load rating and self-aligning ability, therefore it is suitable for applications at low/medium speed which involve heavy load and impact. This bearing comprises of barrel-shaped convex rollers arranged diagonally. Due to the raceway of its housing raceway washer being spherical, this bearing is self-aligning and can allow a certain degree of angle tilt. Arch correction, resulting from the bearing construction, and arch-logarithmic correction have been discussed herein. In the studies on the effect of correction parameters on the contact capacity, the authors used a computer program enabling one to determine, for any roller generator correction profile, the pressure distribution in the contact, and then to determine the contact capacity indicator. The stiffness of the bearing arrangement, combined with the ability of the bearing to accommodate axial movement, substantially reduces vibrations within the application to increase service life of the bearing arrangement and related components.

With the same center as the bearing. the spherically formed outer ring raceway can make self alignment. Their rolling elements linearly come into contact with the raceways of inner ring and outer ring. The bearings can take greatly radial load, suitable for heavy machinery used in mining, metallurgical, paper-making and instructing, etc., Industry.
