HK series is designed for heavy load occasions. It is equipped with high-strength cage design, which can withstand extreme load and high speed. HD series, with its innovative fractured outer ring design, enables the radial deep groove ball bearing to set the maximum steel ball parameters, greatly improving the dynamic load capacity of the bearing and extending its service life. The HA series is an indivisible design, its outer ring is provided with a counterbore, and a monolithic high-strength cage is arranged between the rollers. This series is ideal for preload and/or thrust applications. At the same time, Timken specially designs deep groove outer ring and modified inner ring for ultra-high speed applications. The HT series with excellent performance is characterized by a complete deep groove outer ring, a single piece of high-strength cage and two ultra deep groove inner rings, which are widely used on high-speed shafts with forward and reverse thrust loads.

Timken (NYSE: TKR) announced that it will provide bearing solutions for the largest slag vertical mill in China. The diameter of slag vertical mill disc of this specification is 5.7m, which is developed and manufactured by CITIC Heavy Industry Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CITIC Heavy Industry”), a leading domestic cement production equipment manufacturer [2].
Slag vertical mill plays an important role in the construction of large-scale infrastructure in China and contributes to the sustainable development. Slag is the residue of ore after benefaction or smelting. After vertical grinding, it can be used as the active mixing material of cement to produce high-performance concrete, which is widely used in roads, bridges and other infrastructure projects. This time, the slag vertical mill independently developed by CITIC Heavy Industry can produce up to 1.2 million tons of slag powder annually.
